Energy levels--what do you notice?

I notice my energy levels are better when I'm more hydrated. Also I'm more energetic when I work out regularly--duh... Also when I have enough protein my levels are more stable. Carbs wear me down unless I'm active ALL the time--like when I used to run, wait tables, bike everywhere. I can't live like that now that I have my infant son in tow... so carbs are definitely reduced.
