THEM : "Is that a new shirt ?"

ME : "No, I just haven 't worn it in a while..."
Many years ago I bought a polo-style knit shirt and for some reason never wore it. Too nice to throw out, but I didn't like the way it fit. It made its way to the back of the closet, and I'm *not* one to clean out my closets.
In the meanwhile, I switched to exclusively wearing large, loose, untucked shirts : colorful Hawaiians and such.
Today, I woke up and realized I had absolutely no clean shirts to wear. Looked in the closet : nada. Looked in the back of the closet, behind suits and dress shirts, and there it was. Told myself it would never work, that it would be too tight, but I tried it on anyway.
Turns out it is kind of tight. But mainly across my chest and around my biceps. As long as I - ahem - keep my "core engaged", it actually looks okay. So today is core training day. And it feels good.

Nice work... it feels good, doesn't it?
I've gone so far as to donate the older shirts so that I can't go back.0 -

It's time to clean out the closet of the stuff that's too big! Good Job on the Core Workout! LOL0

The "core" workout is funny. I do that sometimes. When I get up from my desk at work, sometimes I pull things in when I walk across the office so no one can see how big I am.
I have also pulled it in for photos before too. I look damn good in some Christmas and Thanksgiving pictures, even though I just chowed a giant feast. No wonder my mother in law keeps buying me sweaters that are too small. She looks at pictures of me and thinks I look like that all the time.0 -
congrats looks like it's time for a new wardrobe0
