how about we help the Mods / Admin...

rather than hinder them?

I appreciate that a lot of people are upset over the actions of a former member. I understand there is justifiable anger. I can never support what has apparently gone on via pm.

However, I doubt the Mods / Admin on here do either. Does anyone seriously believe they find it acceptable that members, particularly female members, were being harassed? Of course they don't. The very idea is simply absurd. The vast majority of the people on this site are good people simply trying their best with limited resources. That INCLUDES Mods and Admin.

Whilst speaking about former members is not expressly prohibited in the forum rules it certainly seems to potentially fall under section 21 of the Terms of Service - objectionable content (yes, I am that geeky that I read them.)

So, how about we simply work together with the Mods / Admin rather than against them? We are all actually on the same side. United we stand, divided we fall. I understand that a reporting pm function is being developed. Until that time let's just use the block / report functions to alert offending content. MFP has existing features in place so lets use them. Whilst it may seem unfair that it can't be discussed openly on the boards I can see why as a matter of policy that makes sense.

One love ;)

ps: yes, this is my one serious post per year.

I guess because people haven't been able to speak about it freely and feel their voices haven't been heard.

It's getting silly and the more time the Mods have to devote locking and deleting random thread the less time they will have to actually police the site. It's a self destructive cycle.

Wow there's been a whole lot of talk about one specific person. I think I am done with the forums today. So yeah, I will notify if I ever get harassed, although, apparently I was the only person he never talked to. LOL!

how about we get back to things like......females ONLY blah blah blah my tom blah blah blah or should i eat my calories back? no you shouldn't yes you should, you are stupid for thinking the way you think and the greatest of all "what am i doing wrong" everything i do is what mfp says, but their diary is locked and they wont' share it with you. And if they do, they get all defensive when you say "hey maybe all your meals shouldnt' be fast food"

Nods just need to stop letting their panties get in a bunch.....those topics are more entertaining than the 50000000 calorie eating, P90X, tom, etc that have been answered a hundred times over..

I'm all for starvation mode, it works much better than eating back calories, I am currently eating 12 calories a day & working out 800 cals a day & have lost 48906 lb's in 3 weeks.

Anyone who doesn't agree with me is a moron.
