So, out of curiosity I looked it up--for any moms out there who are lugging their babies around all day (like me); did you know that carrying around an infant for an hour burns 252 calories for a 150 lb woman? I walk around with my 23 month old on my hip all the time so I'm stoked on this lol.....not going to put in in my exercise tracker (it will just be gravy :), but it sure makes those moments where she gets to feeling heavy and I can't put her down less frustrating! Happy carrying!

I have a 23 month old too and he's heavy! Good to know I burn a lot of calories carrying him! It does make it less frustrating (a little anyway!)

Mine will be 2 on Oct 3! How does he like the carrier? I've only ever used the Baby Byjon when he was much younger (and lighter). Haven't tried a back carrier before.

He loves it! i can wear him front or on the back..it puts most of the weight(25lbs worth) on my hips..it can hold up too 35lbs but i dont think my body will beable to carry a 35lber for 20mins walks LOL! my oldest son will be 7 Oct 4th..last yr they had their bdays together and we dont have ATON of money to spend of seperate parties this yr so im thinking just a few fun hours at chuck e cheese will be fine with them!

Hmmm my son is already 32 lbs (my big boy!) so not sure if it would be worth it if it only holds 35lbs. Plus, like you said, that would be quite the weight to carry around! That's great that your son's birthday are so close that you can have them together like that! Definately saves money and I'm sure they don't mind if they get Chuck e cheese! Wish we had one of those here!
