Another Newbie!

Hi All,
Ive been tracking diet and food on and off for a while, but now in the lead up to summer I feel like I really need to get my act together!
Im 26, 5 6" and weigh 145 pounds. Ideally Id like to get around to about 135 - 130.
I go to the gym 4 - 5 times a week generally to do cardio as Ive hurt my wrist so have to lay off the weights for a while, although have been a bit slack on that front recently!
My main vice is food & alcohol, especially bad carbs and cheese! So just hoping to use this site to get the motivation to hit the gym regularly and avoid the chips and cut down on the drinking!

good luck. this should make losing weight easy for you. you don't have much to lose. you can still drink, but differently. I'm a bartender and I really drink fairly often. Instead of having 3 or 4 micro brews every day, I now have 2 or 3 light beers or a scotch and water a couple times a week. I never thought I could lose weight without quitting alcohol but it can be done.:drinker:0

Hi, thanks for the response, Its all about making sensible changes isnt it! I usually have pints of cider or beer which I know is no good.
I want to try changing to sprits with low cal mixes - so something like vodka with slimlime tonic and lime. Also worth cutting down as its always the next day, hungover that I pig out on bad food!0
