I happened upon this very cool calculator that calculates how many calories you need to lose weight. But what's different about this one is it shows you calorie intake week by week over a given period of time. You say you want to lose x amount in x number of weeks/months, based on your activity (I put very light activity to transfer it to mfp's net calories and pre workout calories). It also shows you yellow or red figures if your expectations are too high, as it states that women shouldn't eat less than 1200, and men less than 1600. It really helped put things into perspective for me in terms of goals and what to expect. I realized that because I'm closer to my goal, it IS going to slow down - and that for me to lose the last 15 - 20 pounds in a healthy way, it's going to happen around February (5 months) , verses thanksgiving, which was the timeframe in my mind (which would be 3 months, in which to make that happen I would have to eat 900-1000 calories a day - NOT gonna happen).

Anyway, it's fun to play around with - and it really makes me feel like I'm not in a race anymore and embracing this new lifestyle, and knowing that slowly, but surely, I am getting smaller. I know people talk about it a lot, but for some reason this really hit home for me. Anyway, you should try it, it's fun :)
