I just heard about it tonight, that's what I have been doing for a lil while now without knowing. I haven't finished doing my research/reading on it yet but umm, it consists of eating like your ancestors/cavemen: only eat dairy, fruits, veggies & proteins and do not eat processed food. My question is: Have you heard about it and/or are you doing it? My problem is pasta & rice, not candy, cakes nor sodas so im working on it and losing little by little. my plan is to cut off pasta & rice completely in a month. Happy releases everyone & wish me luck losing this darn weight!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol.

Don't do any kind of diet that you cannot see yourself doing for the rest of your life. Can you cut out pastas, rice and sweets forever? If not, don't even bother. We do need some carbs, its all about moderation. If you deprive yourself of something you love forever, you'll eventually crack.0

I did a Paleo Challenge for 45 days and stayed with it 52. I actually really enjoyed it. It's basically fruits, vegetables, meats and nuts. You can't eat dairy, grains or starches. If you're thinking of doing it I recommend starting it as a challenge for 30, 45 or 60 days.0

Thank you all for commenting, I can do this and I am looking forward to it. I use to eat like this before I came across pasta & rice and became a freakin emotional eater & ate a ton of it...hence the weight gain. I gotta lose the weight and stop eating pasta & rice, my body hates it, feeling bloated and looking like im pregnant <<< not cool. it's time to move on from this BS!!! ( im fat and miserable, i miss my old happy self) Goodnight ya'll. I'm out!!!!!!!!0

I'd like to try it, but Quinoi is too much in my regular diet, it's my favorite food in the world, I don't know if I could live without it0

I don't really consider it a diet. It's more about eating normal, unprocessed food. I'm not a "primal" person though. I love my processed junk every so often0

I followed the paleo diet, for a few weeks, and though I do think it's a good lifestyle to live, solely because I lost weight every week while I was on it, and my body just felt so much healthier being on it, I agree with the person who said don't do any diet that you can't see yourself doing forever. In my case I was on the diet and feeling great for 3 three weeks, and though it didn't seem like that long, my body adjusted to it, so the one day I decided to indulge on something that was not part of the diet, I got really sick. I've heard of the same thing happening to many other people who have done it too. I hope this helps!0

Why wouldnt you just cook them?
I've been doing primal blueprint for a while now and love it. All my eggs and meat is cooked0 -
Primal/Paleo is awesome. Do your research though. All things aren't for everyone and there is a lot of mis-information about it out there. You don't have to eat raw meat and eggs....personally...that's just crazy. And you can have carbs, you just get them from fruits and vegetables rather than grain-based food. For me, when I eat closely to Primal, my energy level increases, and even my skin and hair feel better. It's a really nutrient-rich way to eat!0

My husband and I will start on it next week. The funny thing is that my mother (mexican woman) use to feed us like this when we were kids and we were healthy kids. It was very rare when we got sick.
Its not new, Its just got lost and someone is marketing on it.
I do wish you luck on it and hope that if you find yourself not loosing any weight, it could overall make you feel better, health wise.
