UFC Personal Trainer - Kinect

Has anyone tried this?
I got it and made a start last night and I have to be honest - I'm not overly impressed.
Maybe the half hour last night was just to introduce me to the different excercises, but I felt like there was no cardio at all, it was all abs work. I finished it and I hadn't even been out of breath once, even though I REALLY struggled to do the excercises.
Not sure if I should stick with it or go back to the Biggest Loser.
Anyone else tried this and can offer some advice?

Hi edonald774
I have a kinect but not the personal trainer so cant offer an opinion really... I much prefer my Wii and Wii Fit .. working my way through that as you choose cardio or strength training0 -
Try it again and see how you feel about it. Personally, I'd love to get it and give it a go, but I need to buy a Kinect first and at £100 that's gonna have to wait a bit.0

Have you tried the kinect sports, where you do things like volleyball, boxing, football etc .. that's pretty good and it's fun. I would love to try some of the others though, as I only have the sports games and adventures for now0

I actually got into this site because I got UFC personal Trainer. I have been doing a 30 day endurance routine and I haven't lost a pound after 2 weeks. But I have noticed my clothes fit better so its doing something. It took until week 2 before it started to get crazy as far as the routines go. There isn't a large amount of cardio in there though. They try to distribute it equally between upper body, lower body, cardio.
I did want to add that I also feel more agile. I can do things that i couldn't do before so that is a plus.0 -
thanks Cdub998,
I'll keep going and see how it works out :0)0 -
I can give you another tip from last night. Get some weights. I went from 180-220 cal routines to a 343 last night since I added weights. Squat and hold with weights is brutal.0
