Hydration Level

Anyone know of a more effective way to measure your hydration level than a digital scale? I have already decided to go "retro" on my scale (tossing the digital which can add or subtract a pound within minutes!) and get an old-fashioned kind, but I'd like to track my hydration level (I have a habit of not drinking enough (water!). Any ideas?

Maybe just drink more than you think you should? Use an alarm clock and try to drink your big cup before the alarm goes off and when it does go off, time for another cup? Try to make it so that you are peeing no fewer than twice an hour? I don't think there's a way to measure your hydration level, to be honest, unless someone else knows something about it and can help.

I register patients in a hospital for mri and xrays. Everytime I register a medicare patient, I have to move to a screen that is called the MSP questionaire. While I click on No No No, I drink, drink, drink. That gets me plenty of water.

  • If your urine is clear, then you're good, if not, drink more water.
