Perplexed about BMR and daily caloric intake

I was reading a thread yesterday about all of this. I did my BMR on here and it said 1432. MFP has me at 1200.
I am 5'5 and at 168 pounds. I sit most of the day at work, but am currently running about 25 miles a week.
My weight loss has been about 5 pounds a month and I am ok with that as I go over my daily calories 5 days out of 7. Not alot, but around 100-300 over.

According to some theories I am eating way too few calories, but I feel like if that were true, I would be losing a good bit more.

Any ideas, suggestions or advice?
