I've been on this site off and on and have started again yesterday. I'm not sure if I sure look for support at the message board or in a blog. I'd love to have a couple of people to kind of be accountable to. I have become very obessed with thinking what I can eat next. I'm a very busy person but if I have a free moment that is when the voice keeps telling me to see what else there is to eat . If anyone can help me use this site to get the most out of it, I would be appreciated.

The best way to recruit friends is to post that in the" Introduce Yourself" section (which is where we are, of course), but give a little more info about yourself & what your goals are. For example : "I am a married 50 yr old, mother of a college boy, and am trying to lose the pounds that I had gained following several surgeries a few years ago. I'm trying to get stronger & fit." (This is me, btw) What you share is up to you. Occupation, goals, hobbies, age, etc
Once you do that, decide how many friends you want. Do you want a small, tight knit group or are you the lively type who thrives better with a larger group? Women only or mixed company? Does it matter to you their ages? Maybe you want friends who are in your own age group....or maybe you like diversity all around?
Getting some friends is the first step. The message boards can help with questions/advice/opinions you would like to seek, and the blogs are a way to read about others' struggles/successes.
Course, there are some who choose to go it solo which is fine too. Good luck! :flowerforyou:0 -
2Bfit I think has summed this site up well.
I like to have a few friends and we can follow and motivate each other. Sometimes I post blogs but I do think anyone reads them. When I have specific issues I think about posting a message.
This site is great becuase it lets you decide how you want it to help you.
If you would like a friend, you can add me.0
