A Newbie who recently hit 40

I've recently turned 40 and am wanting to make some healthier choices. I have finally adopted the mind set that I need to take care of me. I've lost 15 lbs over the last six months and quit smoking a month ago. My weight loss has recently stalled but I am more concerned about just getting physically stronger... for myself, 1st and my work, 2nd. I suspect that if I do this right, the last 15-20 lbs I want to lose will melt away...Hopefully. Both a good friend and my new personal trainer suggested that I join MFP and already the food and excercize trackers have opened my eyes.
