My entire network of home support (read:my husband and child) have decided that they would like to have Indian food for dinner this evening. I haven't even begun to research whether or not there is anything on a traditional Indian menu that I might be able to eat. I love Indian food and am confident that it is one of the many assists that helped me get to my current state of chubbiness. In the past, I have paid little to no attention to calories, fat, etc and just ordered whatever.
Any suggestions? I have about 550 calories for dinner.

Stick to the tandoori grilled meats and stay away from all of the sauces, they are loaded with ghee (butter).0

Indian food is awesome! That being said, I try to shy away from the rice. It's a bunch of calories that has little flavour. 1 cup = 242 calories. I'd rather have the sauce at a half cup for 110 calories.
