Understandably overwhelmed!!

So I'm not necessarily a newcomer, but instead a repeat offender. I've been touch and go for a few months and when I first signed up I did pretty good. I am now at an all time high in weight and feel like a lard A**! So now I start (again), and I'm hoping that I can find that innermost strength that so many of you have.
When I look at the entire picture I just feel like it's hopeless. My goal is about 65 lbs away. That seems like a daunting task but how else will it come off other than me burning it off. It will be hard but so worth my while.
Oh and here is something to think about...I've stopped crossing my legs. Don't know when that happened but I went to try the other day and guess what? It's uncomfortable. Have I really gotten to the point of having plump legs that are too heavy to cross? Yikes! I will for sure post when I'm comfortably crossing them again. That is reason enough for me to stay committed.

My goal is around 110 lbs away. I've lost 42lbs already and not stayed 100% on plan for a whole week ever.
Hopefully that's some perspective.0 -
Hi Natvee,
I am in the same boat you are. I started over a month ago and did well for the first few days and then stopped AGAIN!! I, of course, gained back what I had lost plus a few more pounds just to make me feel even better about myself!!
BUT, I started again on Sunday...have been logging every day and trying to make better choices. I am taking it ONE day at a time.
You can do it!! Keep at it!0 -
Congratulations on coming back. I know what you mean about crossing your legs. It's such a little thing that just disappears fro our life. Make sure you welcome and celebrate its return, I know I did!
and don't think of it as 65lb. Set yourself small, achievable goals such as x lb in x weeks. Go for it!0 -
You CAN do it!!!! I know it sounds daunting, but, just one pound at a time. I also started out with 65 to lose, but 20 down and I already feel and look better. Slow and steady wins the race.0

Just think, if you lose 1lb a week it'll take you just over a year to lose it - not long in the scheme of things, really. It might even come around quicker!0

You do have really nice people on here to help you along the way.
I have also been though that (not on here or on any site to be exact) and to be honest I think plenty of people have been through that.
Take it one day at a time, a full 24 hours and what you can do to better yourself for that day. That day will teach you how to go on to the next day. Its a learning progress, but its totally worth it.0
