Besides the normal stuff that we all know we should be doing to lose weight (like exercise daily, proper diet, plenty of water)
I would like to know your secret weapons you use to help you through weight loss......here's a couple of mine.

**ALWAYS KEEP IN YOUR FREEZER** No Sugar Added Tropical Pops - Pineapple Mango, Strawberry Kiwi, Tropical Banana Pops, 1 bar (56g) 20 calories They are so low in calories they won't stop your progress of losing weight. But they make you feel like you are having something good and sweet! I eat two bars every evening for a total of 40 calories.

Find an exercise you LOVE and can't wait to go do....for me it's ZUMBA and hiking.

Plan events that I have to look good for. Like a High School reunion or attending a wedding. That way I have motivation to STEP AWAY FROM THE SNICKERS BAR!!!!

My little secret is butter toffee almonds...I always keep a serving size at work for all those times you see other co-workers eating sweets, or your craving something sweet, or you just need a snack...theyre healthy, great protein and have a little bit of sugar to feed that craving!

I always keep a Special K bar in my purse or at my desk! The chocolate pretzel ones at 90 calories ALWAYS satisfy my chocolate craving ;)
  • 94% less calorie popcorn (snack size). I eat a couple a day and it feel like a snack that isn't finished in 2seconds.
  • Fiber One chewy chocolate brownies. Only 90 calories and OMG they taste so good. Just like a brownie loaded with fat and calories!
  • Juicing for breakfast (usually) every morning. Helps me get in all of my fruits and vegetables, and I always feel amazing until lunch.

I always have a healthy snack with me and I plan what I'll eat before I leave for the gym. And for my morning workouts I roll out of bed and get dressed for the gym before I'm too awake to realize how early it is. If im dressed already I might as well go.

I like to keep Luna Protein bars around for snacks and I always have carrots, celery and cucumbers for snacking as well. I also have a 33oz water bottle with it's own filter so that I can always have good water to drink.

Jillian Michaels chocolate whey protein powder mixed in a blender with unsweetened almond milk, ice cubes, a packet of ground flaxseed and a teaspoon of cinnamon. It's nice and thick like a milkshake and really fills me up and kills any chocolate craving I have!
  • I just make sure I eat my 4 meals a day of 400 calories. That really is all I need but for lazy days when I dont pack a lunch I keep almonds (different flavors) in my desk drawer to make sure I get my meal in somehow

My exercise DVD, because I can do it at home and burn over 400 calories in about half an hour. This way I can guaranty exercise and in turn the abilitly to eat more, even if weather is bad, gym is closed, pool is closed, too dark to walk, or I'm pressed for time. (My current favorite DVD is Ripped in 30). (Plus my body shape is starting to change and it makes me look like I've lost more than I have.)

Foodwise, fresh fruits and veggies!!! I find that there is a fruit or veggie for almost every craving (crunch salty = celery; crunch sweet = carrot; smooth and sweet = banana; good anytime = tomatoes). Running out of calories and still hungry = huge green salad + nonfat dressing.

Planning my meals ahead of time as well as some weekend cooking really helps me stay on track because my family life is hectic this time of year.

I also like to keep Luna protein bars on hand for when I crave a sweet snack but could use the protein to make it last.

This is so true. I drink 4 cups of water (1 litre) with every meal and usuall more than that through the day. Liquid calories are dangerous & some sugary drinks actually will make you more thirsty!

Toddler/kids snacks are really great! I love the Revolution Foods Mashups, Grammy Sammy, Jammy Sammy and Yo! Drops. I buy them for my kids and it's hard for me not to eat them! I also like the Annie's Organics fruit snacks, Bunny Grahams, and Cheddar Bunnies.
