Whilst on this weightloss journey, I've always gotten to a point where I'm doing really well then BAM! i get sick and all i want to do is eat 2min noodles and fatty chicken soups and just eat and eat and eat and it all comes back.
NOT THIS TIME!
I did some research over multiple sites but these spells it out nicely...

...and these are foods that are good to eat when you're sick.
protein (meat, eggs, beans, Tempeh, cheese, nuts) - helps your body maintain and build strength
yoghurt because of the probiotics, and particularly greek yoghurt because it's got lots of protein
citrus for the flavonoids - increases immune system
vitamin B6 and B12 (nutritional yeast, fish, milk, spinach, turkey) - these are healing nutrients and foods that contain these are usually high in protein.
Glutathione fights infection and is found in watermelon, kale, broccoli and cabbage
... and of course fluids like green tea, miso, veggie and chicken soup.

....You can actually eat all that when you're sick?0

well, not all at once. that's just crazy talk.0

IMO I'd be careful with the yogurt.... if you have a cold, it may not be a good idea as dairy tends to aggravate phlem. Yuck!0

I recommend taking a probiotic supplement like Benebiotics instead of eating yogurt. Otherwise you've got a good plan.0
