Almost 40 and I promised myself I'd lose the weight I've been wanting to loose for years and years and years or I'd have to learn to love it. I don't really believe I can't lose any weight after 40 but really, it's time to chant a new mantrua. This, "I'll buy that dress when I lose..." or "I'll take that trip when I lose..." has got to stop. So, I've been makeing very real, usually slow yeilding, lifestyle changes.

Here goes!

You know, it can be really refreshing to learn to do both! Love your body as you work off those pounds. Love yourself - because that's a huge chunk of this journey - learning that "someday" is "today" and learning to be loving and nuturing to yourself, putting your health as the #1 priority in your life. When you're at your best, you can best love those who loved you through your worst! :)

I am 62 and I can't exercise much. If you count your calories the weight will come off. Hang in there
