Healthiest oil to pan fry in?
I know frying ANYTHING in oil isn't healthy, but if I get the hankerin for some latkes (potato pancakes), what is the healthiest way to fry them?
My grandmother raised me frying them with canola oil, which I've switched for olive. But my new grandmother(inlaw) suggested frying in peanut or sunflower oil instead. Is there really a distinct differences between these healthy oils?
Again, I know the healthiest option is to not pan fry at all, but sometimes a girls just gotta give her husband what he wants!
So what is in your opinion the healthiest oil and why?
