Hello all and welcome aboard, I am your Captain Glen and we are cleared for take off. We will depart New York on October 1st and fly around the world. For every calorie we burn we fly 1/4 of a mile. If we all average 500 per day we should cross the finish line by the end of October, hopefully before that :tongue: . Of course I am sure there will be mini challenges along the way. Like drink 8 glasses of water day, double mile days, triple, and maybe even quadruple mile days. I will post on my status as soon as I find out. Also once you are done working out everyday please PM me your calories burned. I will submit our totals to Lee everyday.

The first order of business is a team name. Some suggestions I have been given is: Around the World in 80 Pounds, Voyager, Mile High Club, Flying the Friendly Skies, High Fliers, and Calorie Crunchers. If you have another or have one you like, post it here and we will decide in a couple of days.

    I saw that this challenge doesn't start until Oct. 1 so should I start sending you my calories burnt today or do we wait till the day it starts?

    woo hoo!! Sounds good.I will give it to Sunday so every one has had a chance to see this and voice their opinion. Then on Sunday when I get back to work I will update Lee as to our team name. This is going to be fun.
