Some people might not want to hear this but this is massive for me so I just had to share.

I have had two periods a month apart. Now this might sound daft but when you take into account my periods haven't been that regular since I was in high school (10 years ago) and also remember that one of my inspirations on my profile is to improve my chances of conception, this is amazing!
Of course it could just be a fluke and only time will tell if my health has improved in that area but for now, I'm taking it.
Woo hoo!!!!! :-)

I had trouble with very irregular periods all my life. Until I started using Nuva Ring. I tried all the other B.C options ( minus implants and shots) This Nuva Ring is the only thing that helped make my period come every month like clock work, didn't make me gain weight, DIDNT cause me to be suicidal & homicidal!

Unless your trying to conceive now I'd ask your gyn about this option. I hated everything about B.C but i hated it even more that my irregular periods and my poly cystic ovarian syndrome was decreasing my chance to have kids!

I too have polycystic ovaries. Was gutted when I found out. But this is a little light at the end of the tunnel and I'm running for it at to speed, just hope it's not a train! :-p

Not sure about these things you mention. I think I'd rather wait and see whet happens when I lose more weight. And if things still look bleak, I will look into the ring thing. Thanks. x

    GOOD STUFF!

all other birth control options my gyn tried me on whether it was low hormones or medium hormones or high hormones yada yada yada... they all made me feel CRAZY! But this Nuvaring has put me into a very predictable cycle. You leave the insertable ring in for 3 weeks and take it out for a week. The first 2 months I had a verrrrrry heavy period for like 3-4 days. Now I have a period for like 2 days and its light but i have one and its every month.

hope this helps and best of luck!
