Which oil do you use? They all seem to have the same amount of calories so does it matter? Thanks

We are on our 2nd actifry - 1st one caught fire - 2nd one is the larger FAMILY version.

I either use vegetable oil or olive oil - both work equally well!

I cook oven chips, roast potatoes, chicken - just using 1 tablespoon of oil - VERY low calorie and delicious !!

  • Thanks! I used to use it all the time, doing slimming world! how do you count your calories for the chips? Count the cals for potatoes and oil?

Yes - if I cook 'fresh' chips, I add 1tbsp of oil, and count the cals = chips + oil
If you cook 'oven' chips, I don't add any oil, so cals = chips
