Newbie question about Sandwiches and water?

Hi all,

New to this site but have a couple of basic questions.

Re Sanwiches if I have 2 slices of bread as a sandwich, does that count as 1 or 2 sandwiches in the tracker.

Also re water - how much roughly should I class as a glass. 1/2 a pint or is that too much?

Thanks
Paul

A "cup" is 8 ounces of water. I found a favorite glass of mine and measured how much it held...that way I don't always have to measure the water. A water bottle is roughly 2 cups.

As for the sandwich bread, it depends. Check the serving size on the bread package.

definetly check the serving size. one arnolds sandwich thin is two slices but one serving. but other "normal" sliced bread is one serving a slice.

If you add foods by serving size, and calories instead of logging it as "sandwich" it will be more accurate. Some breads 1 slice is a serving, others it's 2 slices.
  • Thanks for the replies. I tend to make home made sandwiches, so want to make sure I am not double counting?
