The full moon and weight?

Okay ... I know what y'all are gonna say. But Whatever. I do it and lots of ya do too! I weigh myself daily. I usually loose a pound a week. During that 7 day week I will usually see a day where I see a lower weight than the rest of the week. I call it my "preview weight"! LOL! I usually will hit that lower weight the next week. I also like to record a weight once I see it 2 days in a row. Well ... this week has been crazy weight wise. I did not gain ... but I have lost a pound a day for the last few days! Like Sunday I was 164, Monday I was 163, Tuesday I was 162 and today I'm 161. *sigh* Which weight is right?? I was fully expecting to see my weight at 163 this week. I'd LOVE to truly be 161 though! LOL! I told my husband this and he said it may be crazy due to the full moon. Now ... I did not see this in the previous full moon cycle! Why would I see this during this full moon cycle?

What are your thoughts on this? I have not really had a big change in my activity or calories consumed or calories burned. Today is weigh in day for my challenge and I was hoping to not see a new number on the scale! Hahaha! I know most would LOVE to have this problem, but I'm confused and skeptical!

I used to weigh everyday - I would actuall chart it on a spreadsheet and then go back and look at my weekly averages. The body fluctuates due to what it's doing. Remember that muscle weighs more than fat... but I found it (eventually) to be entertaining and realized my body was going to fluctuate 5 # up and down all week long and would compare my weekly averages and if I saw it drop then I was happy. But this is why they tell us to pick one day for a weigh - in and not weigh daily. :flowerforyou:
  • Does it matter?? All I can see is the scale going down and that's what counts in the long run!

Weight has to do with gravity. Maybe the fluctuating weight has to do with the gravity force from the full moon.
