how do you find out what your ideal weight should be?

I know there is the bmi to find out but the healthy range is quite large so I was wondering how you worked out what was the right weight for you? I'm 5ft 4" and 148lb my goal at the moment is just to reach 145 and be at the very top end of healthy but I was wondering where to set it from there. Any advice would be great :)
