Hello everyone! My name is Danielle, I am from the midwest! I am a 24 year old registered nurse. I decided to jump on this bandwagon when my best friend, Lauren, harassed me to do it! Thing is, she sometimes knows me better than I know myself and wanted me to join MFP b/c, well, she know what I like! I am also getting married Sept. 2012 and looking great in those photos is also a great motivator. Last year I was in the best shape of my life--- I ran my first half-marathon. While it was rewarding, I was working nights and going to school at the time and the training was extremely demanding, so after I ran the race I began exercising less. Prior to beginning MFP, I still exercised 2-4 times a week, but very inconsistently. I am ready to get back in the swing of things and make working out a priority again! Oh-- and I also have realized I consume 2-3 times the recommended amt of sugar daily---- wooops! So, I am going to work on that. Tell me something about yourself!!!

Hello,
This website has definetly helped me loose weight...I had never counted calories in my life before, so I really wasn't too sure it was going to work- but apparently it has. I have been blown away at how easily I have lost weight by just counting calories! I'd recommend this to anyone that is trying to loose weight! I am positive that it will also help you accomplish your goals! Good luck!0 -
Hey Danielle! I'm new to the site too, I just joined yesterday. I'm not quite a marathoner yet, but I am training to run a 5k in October after having not run since last November. Yikes! Feel free to add me if you like...maybe we can trade running tips :P0
