Homemade Vegetable soup calories

I am making home made vegetable soup and have looked at the database and the calorie amounts differ so much....any ideas what a good bowl of vegetable soup made with, carrots,swede,onions,green and red peppers,runner beans,tomatoes,cabbage etc..no potatoes.

maybe try inputing all that in the recipe calculator could help you come up with a number.0

It depends what you call a bowl, lol! I'm eating some homemade soup at the minute, but have put some potatoes in it. Best advice? Get some kitchen scales, wweigh and write down everything you put in, enter it as a recipe and you can see how many cals per portion - if you think it's a touch too high for what you want then have smaller portions. Really good if you freeze it like me, HUGE pan of soup and you only have to enter it once, then just log it from your recipes0
