Hi there,
I was wondering what's the best way to calculate # of calories burned while doing P90X? I know it obviously differs from person to person because of weight, etc. but are there any good tips out there?
Thank you so much! xoxo

I have been told you average around 600 calories a routine. I thought this might be a bit high until I purchased my HRM. While I have only used it a few sessions, it has been around 520 several times and was 830 after plyo last night.
Hope this helps.0 -
Until I bought a heart rate monitor for my Insanity workouts, I was guessing based on what others were doing. The best way it to by a HRM with a chest strap that shows "Calories Burned." Is it 100% accurate, no...but it is better than nothing. After that, just creat a "New Exercise" and log in the calories burned for that routine...a bit of a process but it gives you the best chance of logging a correct number for calories burned.0
