Fruits and Vegies

After reading some other people's food logs, I'm a little concerned. Is anyone out there eating any fruits and vegies? I see a lot of processed carbs and proteins. I thought we were all aiming for healthy weights that were the direct result of healthy eating... Any comments?

My diary is almost 100% fruits and veg. It's friends only though, but that's pretty much all I eat!0

Yep, I eat 2 fruit and lots of veggies every single day. USUALLY cook most meals from scratch also. You can take a peek at my diary if that would be helpful.0

I eat tons and almost no prepackaged foods. But, I'm pregnant right now and not really logging my food. I check in now and then to make sure I'm not horrendously overeating but since I'm not, I just eat. And eat.0

I eat HEAPS OF VEGGIES YUM!
Some ppl don't count em....
Also some ppl (like me) eat a lot of "recipes" food, so i cook something, add it to my recipes and then you guys just see "Jess's green curry", "Jess's Quinoa salad" etc. But there are actually 5 - 10 different types of veggies in those.0 -
I try to eat at least one or two with every meal and they mainly make up my snacks0

I am trying to get at least 5 servings of fruits / veggies daily. Lately I haven't been very dedicated and have eaten more fruits than veggies. My goal is to eat 2 fruits and at least 3 veggies - working my way there. I'm still taking it a day at a time and working on the food plan, etc. I.E., trying to figure it out to where I don't get into any ruts for eating the same things out of convenience, etc.
That's just me...:flowerforyou:0 -

My diet consists of chicken, eggs, peas, corn, carrots, greenbeans, bananas, tuna, brown rice, skim milk, corn flakes in the morning, and occasional wheat bread. I try to remain strict upon this diet but I do slip once a week or so, but hey don't we all have to eat something bad for us now and then.0

I notice the same thing in a lot of diaries. There are people whose focus is strictly on calories, and hey, it's their choice. I focus on nutrition for overall health. My diary is open.0

It depends on the person. I also notice a lot of people don't take any supplements. Even if you have a great diet, I think a multi vitamin and fish oil are essential.
I've seen people who don't eat any veggies or fruit, eat candy and carbs and wonder why they dont lose weight and feel bad.0
