sleep position?

ok-strange question-not even sure what catergory this fell into- but I was just curious if anyone knows what the ideal sleep position is for your body- should you sleep on your side, back, or stomach. I find I need to sleep on my side but if I don't line up my legs and bend my knees my shoulders/upper arms ache. I think my weight isn't supported well on the entire body in other positions. I can't sleep comfortably on my stomach at all, though I sometimes find myself on it when restless and then my hands fall asleep, etc. and on my back is just not as comfortable for me. Any thoughts?

Whichever position you prefer as long as your spine remains in it's natural arch position.0

I sleep on my back, but I have a tempurpedic so I find it supports my body weight where it needs most.0

I have been led to believe it is on the side, with a pillow of some sort between your knees and your head at an angle that keeps the neck in line with the spine.0
