A lot of struggling and a little NSV

At the end of last month I was thrilled at having lost five more pounds and I was feeling great about how things were going. And then my progress seemed to stall. Funny how last month I hardly exercised, but I was shedding pounds like crazy and then this month I starting doing this 10,000 step challenge and suddenly no more weight loss. I was so frustrated and was starting to find it very hard to fight my cravings for comfort food.

Then my boyfriend happened to find an armband I'd bought to hold my iPod. When I first bought it, I found that my arm was too big and it wouldn't fit me and I'd forgotten about it. Just for the heck of it, I tried it on and - voila - now it fits!

And another slightly more embarrassing NSV - I got a really annoying mosquito bite on my butt in a place that previously I hadn't been able to reach without turning into a pretzel, but today it was driving me crazy and, without thinking, I started scratching it and suddenly realized I could reach that spot without any trouble.

I'll take any little bit of victory I can get until I start seeing more pounds go away.

    Working out can cause you to gain water weight. So while the scale might not be moving your could very well be losing inches. Take your measurements regularly. I did the whole 90 days and then some of p90x and lost 2 whole pounds, but lost 15 inches all over my body.
