For those of you who have done the 30 Day Shred, when did you move to the next level? I started on 9/6 and am still doing Level 1 with a little bit of difficulty. I can't get through all of the push-ups and I have to give my arms a break on the squat/press due to a neck injury that gives me problems. I was thinking that I'd try to move up after Day 10, but I'm not so sure now.

I thought I would have to take longer than 10 days when I was doing it, but was surprised when I got to day 10 that I could move on. I would listen to your body, when it starts to get easier then you'll know.0

I started level 2 yesterday and I was yelling and growling at the tv. I was on level 1 for 2 or 3 weeks, I could tell that I needed to move up. Also, level 2 is the same premise as level 1...Still the lower impact and the full on impact hotties in the background (lol!) Give it a try and if you dont feel youre up to it there is no rules says you can't go back. My plan was to actually go back and forth between level 1 and 2. But I'm catching on to level 2...even though I'm panting and want to cry during it sometimes!!
Good luck to you!0 -
I'm on day 12 and still doing level 1. Not really ready to move on because I can't do a real push up to save my life, I still have to do the girly ones LOL! I still have to take short breaks on the last set of side lunges with arm raises....I think my weights may be a little too heavy,(using 5Lbs) but I don't have any lighter ones to use. I'm gonna give it another couple of days and move on. If it's too hard I'll just go back to level 1. The way I see it is your moving& burning calories no matter what level you do!0

I went ahead and moved up after ten days and just lightened up the weights (I felt comfortable using 5 lb weights on level 1, so I tried using them on level 2 and almost barfed... I decided at that point that baby steps are fine!). Definitely listen to your body, but don't be afraid to give it a try and then go back a level if you feel you need to.0

I'm the same as you, still a little puffed completing first 10 days and my 11 year old is doing it with me so I have to keep it at her pace. I still can't keep up with the butt kicks and found marching on the spot to keep moving working for us. Will move up after another week i think. Best of luck shredders. Cheers Louisa.0

I did find the same with the weights to start with and have found something more suitable. I use just the bar with no weights put on at all, so no idea what that weighs. I think my daughter is using 1/2 kg ones so absolute beginners for her. best of luck. Awesome to see another 'yummy mummy' (as thats what us gorgeous mums are!), doing the program. Cheers. Louisa0

Thanks, y'all! This makes me feel a lot better that not everyone is advancing after 10 days and then 20 days.0
