Meal replacement

Anyone have any advice on meal replacements? I want to get more protein in my diet and less carbs. I am losing OK but I am fed up of trying to eat when I am actually not really hungry but am trying to hit my daily goal. I just end up snacking on carbs.
I have been trying to research but I am clueless. I also don't eat dairy much so a dairy free option would be best (I am intolerant).
Any help would be great.
Just realised I should post this is the food section.
Thanks

I dislike shakes and supplements for protein, I recommend meat or cheese. I grab a few sticks of string cheese for breakfast as an example.
If you find yourself having trouble with cheese, take a probiotic supplement like Benebiotics0 -
I can't eat the cheese but will try meat maybe. thanks0

Eggs and meat
Are eggs dairy woops! Moron!?0 -
Soya protein or egg whites are good to add protein. I tend to be like you carbs are tempting for snacks, have tried with mixed success to replace with fruit. Good luck.0

Eggs aren't dairy - no lactose0

I go for whey protein powder mixed with soy milk after a lifting workout. Lots of protein!0

I increase my workouts. A really good calorie burn makes me very hungry.0

I do eat a lot of eggs, it is probably cause my meat consumption has dropped significantly since weight loss as they can be quite fattening. I used to eat loads of turkey and they helped me lose a hell of a lot of weight. To be honest, the thought of meal replacements repulses me a bit but I am a bit lost with my diet.0

Soya protein, didn't even know that existed! Looks like that might have tried. Oh and I work out a lot. I used to weight around 20 stone. Down to 13 now, was down to about 12.5 but then I got pregnant. I think I am just really stuck in a rut. Especially now I have a kid and want to cook for the family but not necessary eat what they are.0

I know someone mentioned nuts but you could also try plain peanut or almond nut butter mixed with a fruit smoothie.
Beans and pulses are also a good source of protein. Look up recipes for chickpea or three bean salads as they can be quite healthy and satisfying.0
