1/4 pot (approx 112g) of Onken Fat Free Vanilla Yoghurt
Large banana
52g blueberries
82g Raspberries
84g Strawberries
150ml Semi Skimmed Milk

Blended with some crushed ice - made enough for 2 tall glassses (for my OH and myself). The tall glasses are almost 400ml each.... AND surprisingly (for me at least!).. it took ages to drink and is REALLY filling. Love it !!!

Didn't need sweetening with honey or anything else (I know this is a personal preference though). Next time I would reduce raspberries a little, but otherwise... all good! and it made just enough for us 2 for a breakfast.for... wait for it.... 191 cals.

Smoothies - my new best friend! :-)

Yum! Smoothies are my staple breakfast. They go down easy in the morning and are super delicious. You should experiment with adding some spinach, a handful can't be tasted at all and is an easy way to sneak in those veggies :-)
  • We do smoothies all the time! (at least 5x a week for breakfast)- We have gotten our smoothies to almost 40-50% veggies :) (Just start working them in slowly, and add just a little more). It is great way to get some really good stuff into your body, and yes- totally filling!

ETA- the easiest veggies we have found so far are carrots, spinach, and surprisingly, tomato. We will also do collard greens, zucchini, summer squash...really whatever we have in the house, but the first three we try to always keep on hand, because you have to add a lot to detect them :)
