Could 30DS make me uneven???

Is it me or do the "countless" repititions in Jillians 30DS bother you? None of her sets are counted. One mintute your doing 14 reps, the next set, 24. What the heck? It seems to me there is no count, the repitions are over when Jillian is done listening to herself talk. Wouldnt this, over time, make your body uneven? If you consistently followed her video and certain muscles were getting worked out even just 5% more, wouldnt that make your body unbalanced? Symmetry is important you know!

Not to mention how they have the DVD set up so you HAVE to watch the whole 10 min presentation over and again if youre going to do her workout. I swear shes in love with herself.

The best workout I get doing 30DS is doing my own counts and putting on my own music. I need a better circuit training video, any ideas?

    Not to mention, every time I look at her she has a look on her face as if she smells something bad. not sure what thats about, just sayin.

    each day I switch between starting on my left or starting on my right.... that way I am good to go! :-)

    I find that Jillian's face motivates me. I mean, yeah, I can yell obscenities at her through the TV, but I really want to punch it. And, let's face it, I'm going to have to build up my endurance to catch her.

    If you are doing this at the same pace as they are it should be the same! And it is a total body work out regarless! you will not be uneven! Also depends how fast or slow you are going!

    You have 37 lbs. lost, doing something right! I wouldn't worry about it... just do what feels right.

    That means that she's working hard! You should also look at your face when you are trying to push your body to its full pontential! Nobody looks pretty; that's what's good about it--you're suppose to break a sweat!

    We are all so different aren't we? I love the 30DS and even with the repetitive verbals I like it and I find it an excellent short work out my body is changing thanks to the shred..... each to their own and no I am not lopsided lol!!!

    Um, Jillian doesnt work out in her video. She joins them every now and then but doesnt work out.

    LOL!!

    I don't think that it will result in any uneven areas because the ultimate goal is to burn fat. It's not meant to be a muscle-building workout, although you do end up with leaner muscle as a result. I would be more concerned when you're doing targeted muscle work.
