  • From Elk grove go to the one on Elk Grove florin... I was roughly eating 3000-4000 calories a day, maybe more. Now I am watching what i eat and regret not doing this sooner. ideal goal is to loose about 20-25lbs. Anyone one of you out there that go to the 24hr on Elk Grove and Florin?

    Before:

    Breakfast:
    Nothing
    Lunch:
    French fries, anything and everything
    Dinner:
Big plate of rice, beans, pork chop,

    Snack:
    Anything sweet

And when I ate out, I ate large portions.. eww
  • I never used to have an issue with fast food, my issue was definitely portions and undiagnosed lactose intolerance ...

    Breakfast:
Two slices sourdough toast with lots of olive oil, cup of tea

    Snack:
Chocolate coated raisins/candy bar/small packet crisps

    Lunch:
Crisps (try being a veggie at school and eating nothing but chips ... sigh) and a candy bar or, at home, my favourite sandwich: crusty brown roll with goats cheese, roasted peppers and apple chutney! Yummmm.

    Snack:
    Chocolate/toast/DRIED FRUIT

    Dinner:
Whatever my parents cooked - so, say, some kind of vegetarian risotto or a pasta minus the meat (heavy on the cream/cheese and GARGANTUAN portions of it) - lots of carbs

    Munchies:
    Dried fruit/crackers and cheese

My problem was often inadequate vegetarian/later, dairy free options at school OR having choir all five lunches a week and not being able to eat in the lunch hall due to time, so I tended to live off chips and chocolate bars for lack of anything else/time to eat.

Now I follow a low-carb/sugar PCOS diet and feel much healthier! But I miss my goats cheese :(
