Protein powders

I just started an intensive, heavy lifting program and everything I read suggests 1-2 protein shakes a day. That's feasible, but protein powder is expensive! Body Fortress is a decent price at Wal-Mart and has good reviews, but I would love to know if anyone on here has experience with this particular brand, or any other good "brands on a budget".

I use Body Fortress currently. I've tried vanilla and strawberry. I prefer the strawberry for taste. If you're just going to shake it as a means of mixing, don't mix it with milk; you kind of need some sort of blender for that. Mixing it with water is ok.
As far as results go? I can't offer much help there. I started drinking the shakes at about the same time I switched to more a more strength-based workout. I'm fairly satisfied with how things are going, but I don't know how much that has to do with the protein powder.0
