I will be less of a pain and more of a help when I learn things better. I just put a recipe in the data base and the numbers just did not look right to me. Some of you are more knowledgable in the goods and bads so maybe you can tell if it is right without the trouble of putting it in the database to see if I did something wrong. If not wrong I will be making this on my next night off!!!

It came up as less than 300 calories per serving.... recipe serves 8

2 c chopped onion
1 c diced green chilies
2 cloves minced garlic
3/4 c salsa
2 tsp ground cumin
2 cans black beans drained
12 6" corn tortillas
2 c fat free shredded cheese

Not sure, but the tortillas alone would probably be 200 calories per serving

without actually putting it in the database . . . I would say that < 300 calories sounds right. it's mostly veggies! Corn tortillas are better (lower calorie & carb) than wheat and the cheese is fat free. Just watch out for the servings. one eighth of this won't be a lot of food.

Yeah, tortillas and beans are the calorie carriers. If you wanna jig it round a bit, trade of some beans for more salad.

Clarification, were you expecting numbers higher or lower?

I thought it would be higher... of course I was not picturing a serving of it. Thanks! (Its the little things that get me every time.)
