To Eat or Not to Eat

Hi everyone - question - this past week I have had some instances where at the end of the night, I am not that hungry, but I still have calories to fill for the day........ so do I go ahead and eat to meet my calorie intake? Or do I eat something small since I am not that hundry and not meet my calorie intake?
If I do not eat to meet my calorie count, the range of being short is anywhere from 200 - 450. I have read on MFP, that it is important to eat all your calories because you do not want your body to store fat, since it will not have the calorie intake it is supposed to have. Thanks for giving me ANY feedback !! HAVE A GREAT FRIDAY !!

I'd say as long as you're only doing it occasionally it's okay, but don't beat yourself up if you go slighty over either. I prefer to take a rolling 7 day view, rather than individual days - sometimes you just eat less, some days you'll crave something that might push you over. If you look at the last 7 days and you're way over or under in total then you might need to address it
I'm sure you'll get different opinions on this, that's just the way I use MFP and as of today I am 26 pounds down, yay me! :laugh:0 -
Unless I was really low (ie close to 1000 less which very rarely happens), I wouldn't eat if I wasn't hungry. I figure that I'll make up for it another day when I am "starving".0

Don't eat if you aren't hungry, that just defeats the defeats the purpose. If you are finding you are alot under on a regular basis, you might try adding something extra to your meals, a bit of oil or butter, some cheese, full fat milk, nuts etc, it's a bit hard to say because your diary is closed, but if it is just a few calories occasionally, I wouldnt worry.0

I have a glass of almond milk and then go back to bed. Just like cow's milk, it coats my tummy and gives you that feeling that you ate something without much calories.0

I don't think it's a big deal to go under some days, and long as it is because you really aren't hungry. If you ate well through the day it should be fine. If it happens every day maybe you could try to add a few extra calories to each of your meals.
When it happens to me I don't worry about it because I also have days where I'll go over a little, I just figure it all evens out.0
