Mini goal #2 reached today! So many NSVs, too!

Woohooooo! I started all this at the beginning of May. 13 pounds lost so far. My jeans don't fit, they're too big (goodbye saddlebags!). My shirts aren't tight against my belly any more (goodbye after-baby pooch!). I need new bras, because they don't hug my ribcage right anymore (goodbye back fat!) I can spin my wedding ring easily around my finger again. I feel better about myself when I look in the mirror. This isn't a fad, it isn't a diet, it's a new way of life for me. My family back home hasn't seen me since I started my life change of eating better and exercising regularly. I'll be visiting them in a few weeks. I'm hoping they notice the change. I recently was ill for 2 weeks, and even had a trip to the hospital. I didn't exercise much at all. I did my best to rest and eat right. I was still able to reach my mini goal of 125 today. Go me!
My goal isn't a number on a scale. It's a clothing size. The way I look is more important than how much I weigh. I'm only 5' 2 1/2" (that half is important when your short!). When I set my goal of a size 6, people's eyes bulged at me. Personally, I didn't think that was that outlandish. I was a size 4 before I had my two boys. Now for me to shoot for a size 6 is starting to feel impossible since I've not lost much in the waist and hips in the past month, but today I'll go and see what my progress is. I was squeezing into a size 10 before all this. (Probably should have been wearing size 12). I'm very curious to see where I am.

Awesome job. I have lost the same amount of weight and really haven't noticed any changes yet, other than pants less snug. Hope you stick with it!0
