I just wish I could find frozen cherries I would love those in smoothies.
  • 100% Whey Protein Isolate is the best kind of protein powder to get. I get mine from Costco. The brand name is Kaizen and it’s in the MFP database. They have two great flavours: Vanilla Ice Cream and Decadent Chocolate. Both go great with fruit! You can mix it with soy milk if you want, but its more calories. I can drink it with just some water and ice in the blender and its good stuff!
  • Thank you all for taking a min to help me. I really appreciate the feedback!

I've tried that. It's nearly impossible to light.

Definitely try protein powder. I make my smoothies with a scoop of powder, 1 tba of either peanut or almond butter, 1 cup of unsweetened almond butter and 1/2 cup of blueberries. I to to watch my sugar intake so I opt for berries.
  • Greek yogurt or 'All White' egg whites (they have a smoothie recipe right on the back.. very good!)

  • Dairy products are usually the go-to protein source, but I avoid them for health reasons (arthritis)

I use pea protein, rice protein, and soy protein. I have good results with all of them, but the soy is easiest to find, I use "Naturade Total Soy" :glasses:
