I am going to be starting this new chapter in my life on Monday. my questions are: do I need to drink a protein shake before to help or after??? do I need to included my own cardio with this etc

I drink a protein shake after to help with muscle repair and recovery. Also, if you can fit in your other normal workouts, go for it. You will see results quicker with other cardio / weight training, but if you get too sore from the 30 DS, wait until the soreness subsides before doing normal stuff. Happy Shredding!0

It doesn't make my legs sore so I still do some cardio with it. The arms are annother story. I found out pretty quickly that I have absolutely no upper body strength! Haha!0

So, i did it for a few days but no real commitment. I am now working out at the gym 3-4 nights a week, but don't think i am doing anything significant. Plus I walk with a group sat am's at about 4 MPH. We usually do 4-6 miles. On Sundays I like to hike. I have seen no results So i think i will add the 30DS back in...any suggestions on where to start, level I mean.

wow, good for you!! Haha Jillians KILLS my legs! Stairs are the enemy when I'm shredding :grumble:0
