and i lost two pounds in two weeks! okay, so it's not a whole heap of a lot, but i'm happy to see the number dropping! i didn't want to post this in a success story, because to me it isn't a success. anyone can lose weight, and a couple pounds isn't very noticeable. :/. anywho, just had to put that out there!

    Awesome! And yes, it's always good to see that scale going DOWN!

    I've been on this path for about 7 weeks, and have lost 10 lbs (my 'ticker' only says 5, but I lost some before joining MFP). If you're consistent and you just keep plugging away at it (yes, even on those BAD days when you over-eat and screw up), you WILL keep seeing the weight loss.

    I, too, am impatient to get to my goal.................but it took me a LOT OF YEARS to get to this weight, and I know it will take a little time to get it off. Think of how quickly a year really DOES go by.........and then, just keep moving forward :)

    You'll be fine!!!

    I understand, I want to be where I want to be over night but I didn't get where I am over night....all though I can gain faster than I'm losing. I have lost 9 lbs. in around a month....I'm sure hoping when I weight this weekend that I am to 10 lbs lost. But like you said, its moving it the right direction and I not making myself so miserable that I can go on with the amount of food I'm eating....stick with it....good luck!!!

    Any week you can say "I LOST" is a GREAT week!!! I don't care if it's just 1/2 a pound! That is less then what I was last week and I will take a minus over a plus any week!!

    Congrats!! That's actually a heap for me!! I usually loose .8-1lb if any a week.

    I think you should enjoy your successes. You need to practice when they SEEM small so you can get used to them when they become big. They WILL become big, because small successes add up to big accomplishments.

    Great job! I've been here just under a month and have only lost 3 pounds. A few times I've gained, despite the hard work. Just remember, if you gain muscle, you might gain weight despite losing fat. You're doing a great job! Keep it up!
