So... now I've discovered air-popped corn, rather than shop-bought popcorn - who can tell me something to flavour it with, that won't ruin it and/or add to many cals to it.

Oh and that's also available here in the UK too...

Thanks

Cinnamon! or salt and pepper! Parmesan (i used the stuff you can buy in a tub ready grated from the herby aisle in the supermarket, not exactly legit italian!) cayenne pepper, chocolate drops and raisins mixed in like a trail mix.... all sorts! :)

you can buy an air popper..and just buy unpopped kernels. I usually dont put anything on my popcorn..kinda got use to not having anything on it..its good for those times you just want to munch..
  • OMG - you can do so many things. If you spray it with low cal butter spray or nonstick spray (yes, odd but good) your seasonings will stick well too and the popcorn stays crunchy. I like garlic salt and cayenne pepper.

    1 tablespoon garlic powder
    1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 1/2 teaspoon each: dried basil, dried marjoram, dried thyme
1 1/2 teaspoon black or white pepper
3/4 teaspoon cayenne (or to taste)

Mix in a bowl then store in an airtight container. Keeps For about 6 months.
