Looking for friends...that really does sound pathetic doesn't it? :ohwell:

I need someone to hold me accountable; someone who will tell me that I am slacking and I need to get off whatever I am on and just do it! I only want to lose about 10 pounds, but since hitting 40 (only 2 months ago!) I have put on almost 8 pounds and I cannot seem to stay with it! I walk/run 2-4 miles 5-6 days a week and I really enjoy it, but I also enjoy eating. UGH!

If you are straight-forward and no-nonsense, please send me a friend request!

    You don't sound pathetic at all! I turned 44 last Saturday and it is more of a challenge with the slower metabolism. I have lost a total of 12 lbs (only 9 since on mfp) and have a couple to go. I target 4 workouts a week and count calories to stay in check but as I find I am so close to my overall target it is harder to stay focused to get the last few pounds off. I even had my BMR levels tested and my cardiopoint tested to dial in my workouts and goals so all excuses have been removed. It is now down to motivation. Feel free to friend me if you would like.
