Wow that hit the spot!

Have you ever ate something that seems so simple yet you think 'wow that really hit the spot?'
Today I had a greek salad from a pizza place that my co-workers often order from. I normally don't order however today I decided that I wanted a salad and that it had seemed like forever since I had one! It was soooo delicious! It really hit the spot!

What have you had recently that was healthy yet really hit the spot?

    Chicken burrito with out rice, extra beans and veges.
  • Last night for a snack I ate about 8 cherry tomatoes....and they were just SO DARNED GOOD....fresh out of the garden! YUM!
  • Made a great broiled haddock last night that was great, and quite filling. I love seafood and I would love to eat it more but man it's mostly too expensive to try and buy enough for one meal, especially when you are still paying student loans...

    porridge, simple, yet deffinately spot hitting and comes with a delicious food memory too ^_^

    I think this every time I eat roasted Brussel sprouts. I really think I could eat them every day and never get sick of them. I think it often when I have a handful of Emerald's cocoa roasted almonds with a glass of red wine too. There really is no better dessert than that IMO.
