Homemade Turkey & Black bean Chili
Ingredients
Beans - Black, cooked, boiled, without salt, 6 cup
Jennie-O Turkey Store - Lean 93/7 Ground Turkey, 1 container (20 oz. (112 g) ea.)
Fresh or Dried Vegetables: - Carrots, Raw, Edible Portion, 4 oz
Generic - Red Onion - Raw (3 oz), 3 oz
Average (All Brands) Calorie King - Fresh or Dried Vegetables: Peppers, Bell or Sweet, Red, Raw, Edible Portion, 4 ounce
Red Chili Pepper - Crushed Red Chili Pepper Flakes, 2 tsp.
Spartan - Can Diced Tomatoes (No Salt Added), 6 container (1 4/5 cups ea.)
Campbell's - Organic Tomato Juice From Concentrate, 1/2 container (48 fl oz. ea.)
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Raw mushrooms 3 oz cut/chopped
Chili Powers- Use what you want for spice
1 cup serving
112 Calories
15g carbs
3g sugar
8g protein
5g fiber
106mg sodium
Directions
Cook Beans according to bag, Brown the turkey breast, Sautee the onions, mushrooms and red peppers in the olive oil till soft
Food Process the carrots add 3 cans of tomatoes and food process them down
Combine the rest of and all the ingredients in large pot and let simmer on
