Hello, do i need to eat all my dayly calories?

hello everyone, i am new toi the site and i have a question, do i need to eat all the dayly calories?

meh. some days you'll be hungrier then others. sometimes i'm under 100 calories, sometimes i'm over a few. it's not like you have to be exactly on the dot, but the number that MFP gives you is a deficit for you to lose X pounds a week.
i try and re-eat half or more of my burnt calories too, to refuel my body. i usually burn something like 1200 calories on an intense day. i just can't eat that much!!0 -
I don't eat more than 1200 actually I think I am still under and not eating back neither any calories after workout . I workout at least 40 min up to an hour+.0

The intention is for you to get as close as you can without going over.0

you don't have to, it's just that it's better not to be too far under that goal. under no circumstance should you eat less than 1200 cals, remember that this has to be sustainable. I always eat the calories before the workout. the workout calories are more or less optional - i use them for "emergencies", but I usually don't consume them all.0

Hi! Welcome to MFP :-) I just joined a week ago and really am loving how this site works (have been on several others and definitely like this one the best - stick with this one)!
Short answer to your question is yes, you need to eat all your daily calories... if you burn calories working out, you should eat more to make up for that. MFP has your calorie goal set so that you will lose weight at a safe speed, but will lose weight.
If you consistently eat well below your daily calories, it can put your body into what is called "starvation mode." If you don't give your body the minimum amount of calories, it thinks that it is being starved (because it kind of is), and so in response your body starts holding onto every calorie, every fat cell, for dear life. You don't want your body to go into starvation mode!
A good guideline would be to try and be within 100 calories of your daily calories that MFP recommends - above or below. You should do well if you stick to that :-)0 -

Like everyone said above, if you cut your calories too drastically you may go into starvation mode and slow your weight loss down.
The software calculates what you need to eat to achieve a deficit to lose up to 2 pounds per week. It has been spot-on for me.0 -
That depends on your weight, your weight-loss goal, and your calorie count. My initial 1200 calorie/day recommendation was too low. I stalled pretty quickly, and I seem to have broken it by RAISING my calorie count -- significantly. Now, this is because I've been exercising 5 or 6 times a week. I'd avoid being much under 1200, though. It often ends up being counter-productive, although these recommendations don't generalize to all body types and weight-loss goals.0

You don't have to eat "all" of your daily calories but you need to make sure you are digesting enough so that your body gets proper fuel to run for the day. I eat anywhere from 1400 to 20000

Oh, I thank you for your info on this subject. I didn't know this! I was beginning to wonder about this as ppl were talking about stuff I didn't quite understand. So it is getting clearer, plus you make more sense which is easier for me to understand...Cool! I will try to stick to it! I don't ever want to get in that starvation mode. So is it true that I am suppose to eat more since I burn several hundred calories? I think I can do that as I have been wanting to do that most of the day!!! I don't think I will gain any as I believe I have been losing. I will know Monday!!

Give or take about 100, but yeah pretty close. If you have a killer exercise day (burn 1000+ calories) you probably won't eat them all back. Don't be surprised if you are hungrier than normal the next day.
The point is to do something manageable that you can adopt for life. Don't treat it as a diet or a race.0
