I've been with MFP for two months now and i have fallen in love! I've lost 31lbs (while using MFP. I lost 7lbs before i started. So a total 38lbs) and plan to keep going. Everyone is so great! What a nice, positive, warm post. I've been stumbling into so much negativity lately, just wanted to give some kudos to someone who is doing the right thing. Thanks for setting a lovely example, and congratulations on your weight loss!

First time here....Looked at this site few months back, but didn't use it. Started today. I have lost 2 lbs from when I originally registered; but haven't been dieting. The dieting; or really just eating well...Canada Food guide...which is portion control from all food groups. Maybe this site will give me motivation.
You had said add you; but don't see where....opps having said that I see to my right I can add Smiley ...so will do

Msg- welcome! I was the same way. Every year I would say ok Ill start this time but would fail after a couple of weeks because I let life get in the way. This time- nope. I'm so committed that exercising and eating right has come natural now. It is a lot weight. But I work out 6 days a week and rarely eat junk food. I gained weight because I lived such a hectic life that I ate only fast food and never worked out... Once I dropped the fast food and started working out the weight just melted off... But now it's coming off slower because my body has adjusted... Which is fine. These things take time. Welcome to it!!
