I'm not on a diet. I eat, and have actually started eating breakfast. I've never been a breakfast eater, and only sometimes a lunch eater. So, I've been reading about all these calories and how you should eat them back or go into starvation mode. I've been eating what I like, which seems to be peanut butter crackers, for breakfast and lunch. Then make something great for dinner. Like tonight we are having beef bourguignon. I only eat one plate (which is more than 1 serving) but I don't go back for seconds.
So I put what I eat into the food journal, and it says I'm not getting enough calories. I'm eating, I feel full afterwards. I drink when I'm thirsty and end up having a bottle (sometimes 2 of 33.8 oz water bottles with crystal lite added) so here is my question. Am I really going into starvation mode if I keep going? I feel amazing, every day I just want to do more and more. I feel great, I've stopped taking naps everyday. I haven't felt this good since I was a size 5! I have wondered about the weight I've lost so quickly (14 pounds since August 29th) but I keep wondering if I would feel so good and able to do all the exercise I'm doing if I were harming my body? I'm happier, more patient. I just can't say express how amazing I have felt lately.
I should say that I've added my meals the past couple of days now and it says that I'm 363 calories low everyday when it says I should be eating 1,477.

14lbs is a LOT to lose in two weeks. Although I'm happy for your loss, you probably should eat a little more. Some people don't eat back their exercise calories and that's fine. But if you're not eating all of your calories, and you're not exercising (which I'm just making an assumption here, not saying you don't exercise), then you need to eat the amount that MFP gives you. But you don't necessarily have to eat back your exercise calories. But keep an eye on it. Losing 7lbs a week usually isn't good.0

Technically, it's been 20 days. I do walk my dogs 3 miles a day now but I only gradually added up to that over the past 20 days. I'm keeping my 3 miles, I'm just pushing myself to do it faster each day. I've working it down to 52 minutes from just past an hour when I started. I'm also doing a modified version of Insanity. I keep moving but I can't do everything they do yet. I will see about eating more at lunch and keeping my breakfast and dinner the same. And I want to add a walk at the end of each night. Nothing big, just a .78 mile walk. I feel I can do that starting Monday. But that's going to push my "eating" calories even further. Do I just stop and keep going where I'm at or do what my body wants to do? Which is more.0
