Just wondering what types of pre and post workout supplements do you all take?
Pre workout - Chicago Nutrition Pump Force, to increase strength, energy and lean muscle
post workout - Chicago Nutrition Muscle Juice to replenish electrolytes and reduce muscle fatigue
i also drink Optimum Gold Standard 100% whey protien since im trying to maintain 130-150 grams of protein per day

I just use GNC Amped recovery drink ( the cheaper p90x substitute) and that seems to work well. I try to stay away from the straight whey proteins because I am trying to loose weight and not build too much muscle.0

I don't eat anything special beforehand (I typically work out mid-day). I do have a breakfast with a lot of protein, and a mid-morning snack (about 200-300 cal) with easily assimilated carbs for energy for the burn.
I either follow up with a smoothie (nonfat yogurt or cottage cheese, fruits, Whey protein) or I have a spinach salad with lots of beans, nuts, lean meats, veggies, and cheese.
Dont' take a lot of supplements, but I'm curious to what others say.......0 -

I usually drink the P90X Results and Recovery during my workout. Seems to work really well.0
